¿Qué es W2B?
W2B es el acrónimo de Watt to Byte, es decir, de la Energía a la Información. Como sacar el mayor partido a la información de un proyecto o proceso existente, de manera que se traduzca en una herramienta de apoyo a la toma de decisiones de forma certera y rápida.
W2B se inició como consultora el año 2013 teniendo como clientes a empresas del sector de la energía y minería.
Posteriormente a partir del año 2017 se han incorporado a clientes del área industrial manufacturero que han requerido un enfoque especializado en temas de energía u optimización de procesos.

Expert in market and regulatory issues. Has been board’s member of the CDEC, Head of the commercial department of ABENGOA, Operations manager of NORVIND Wind power. Has represented company’s interests in front of PANEL de EXPERTOS and acted as consultant for CNE and many Renewable Energy Generators. As leader of the commercial team of Abengoa, developed price & risk models, and obtained awards for more than 950 GWh/year long term PPAs.
Felipe has over 30 years in engineering, his background started in the first gas pipeline project from Argentina, development of more than 300 MW of gas turbine projects and 2400 MW Coal based energy project in the north of Chile and conducted engineering management and studies for CODELCO and other mining companies like MOLY and CAP. He had exercised many positions as chief and manager in engineering as Deputy Engineering Manager for MPX Chile, Engineer Manager for TECHINT Chile, Deputy Engineer Manager for SWC and Project Manager in GAS ATACAMA. He is a specialist in EPCM and Environmental -line base studies and Feasibility engineering management.
Over 20 years of experience in software engineering, data mining, DDBB design and programmer, mathematical modeling and algorithmic implementation for industrial processes problems. His expertise is in system engineering and networks, he also is Microsoft certificated System developer and SQL-Server certificated expert. Jorge had worked among others, for the USA department of agriculture (USDA) as head of security network and maintenance information system, Adolfo Ibáñez University as senior programmer developing an academic information system, for El Teniente project mine of CODELCO developing a graphical 3D interface for inside mine operations and resource allocation. He also had developed large information system for SOFOFA, massive B2B projects and ecommerce and electronic invoicing systems.
